Body as a Microcosm, 2025
Acrylic, colored pencil, graphite on paper
24 paintings
18 × 18 in each
This set of paintings explores the Tantric idea of the body as a microcosm of the universe through painting. Tantra perceives the body not as separate from the cosmos but as an intrinsic manifestation of divine energy. At its core, it focuses on the opposing yet complementary energies of Shiva and Shakti. The installation consists of two facing walls, each holding twelve paintings. One wall is dedicated to Shiva – inward energy and stillness. The other is devoted to Shakti – Outward energy and movement. Together, they form a visual dialogue that mirrors the cosmic balance of these forces.
The goal is to create an environment that allows people to feel the interplay of these energies while standing in between the walls and recognize their own body as a microcosm of this cosmic balance.
Shakti Wall

Shiva Wall
